TLA - The Local Accountant was founded on 1st October 2010 following the acquisition and merger of two local accountancy firms in Weston-super-Mare and Taunton by our managing director Ross Brinsdon. We pride ourselves that we have grown our business over the years predominately by referrals & recommendations from satisfied customers, banks & other business associates, as well as walk in customers to our tax shops.
TLA is first and foremost a local firm of tax accountants, specialising in the small business sector and working with businesses; ranging from sole traders to limited companies, and also individual tax payers, with a turnover from £1 to £10.2 million per year.
We’re passionate about providing great customer service, as well as market leading accountancy, tax and business advisory services; that are built on our reputation for being a friendly & welcoming practice, speaking in a jargon-free language, understanding the local market, finding tax savings and offering a cost effective accountancy & tax solution to local businesses and tax payers.
We achieve this by offering our professional services from our modern "one stop tax shop" business shop fronts, where you can walk in and meet us in person to discuss your accountancy and tax needs. Expect a w arm welcome from our staff, who will provide you with a drink and you will then meet with one of our qualified tax accountants who will discuss your needs and have everything at hand to ensure your business requirements are met; Let's talk tax.
