A cash flow forecast is an important management tool as it illustrates how cash is expected to flow in and out of your business and how much capital investment your business requires to meet it's financial goals.
These reports are frequently requested by banks and financial advisers when you want to borrow money to start or expand your business and can assist in controlling your business income and expenditure.
In addition to the cash flow forecast, banks often require more detailed information to approve loan applications in the form of a Business Plan, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
Business Plan - this is a written document that describes your core business objectives and how you plan to achieve these over a designated period of time. It is designed to help you and third parties, such as lenders, to understand how you plan to generate money and make your business sustainable and meet you short and long term goals.
Profit and Loss - this shows the income and expenditure of a business and provides a Gross and Net Profit to show you how the business is performing
Balance Sheet - this details the assets, liabilities and illustrates how the business is funded; providing a snapshot of the companies wealth at a point in time. They are used by banks and suppliers to work out if the can offer a loan, overdraft or credit facility.
If you require a detailed for you bank we would be happy to discuss this in person, over the phone or via a Zoom call.
